So i’ve been working on a dragon model. I shift-D to copy the eye over to the empty socket, but when i save and reopen, the eye is missing. I know it is saving because it still records the position of the model. However i cant get any actual changes to save. I have saved is different locations and to new files but they all have the same result upon loading. I use Blender version 2.55- 2.56.
Just found out that is saves the second eye, but is covers up the first and it doesn’t save the location when i move it to the empty socket.
You got a keyframe for the location of the eye.
You can copy it over all you want, as you also copy the keyframe, next time the animation updates (arrowleft/arrowright) it snaps back to the keyed coords.
Alt+I removes keyframes, or delete the f-curves.
Also you should work in orto view, not perspective, in perspective one really can´t judge proportions.
Thanks a lot. That helps. I opened it in an earlier version of blender and it deleted the keyframes, but i never would have guessed that was the problem.
