Blender Novice - GLB Variants - Any help is appreciated!

Novice at Blender here! Is there any way to create variants for GLB that isn’t JUST materials? I have created several versions of a cake in Blender, and each one has a different mesh as well as materials.

For instance, one cake model has m&ms:

The second model has no m&ms, and the last model has no frosting/toppings and is just the inside of the cake.

I need to combine all three variations in one GLB file. I was told to combine all of these GLB files as variants. However, the more I learn about variants, the more I learn that these are materials variants. How can I save each model (which is shaped differently) even though the variants are for materials only? Is there any way to combine different models into one GLB file as variants?

Thank you!

Actually ı did not get what you said properly,
İf ım not understood wrong youu need 3 models in 1 glb.

ı suggest you to use shapekeys,
like;

same model, there will be shape key data at glb, you can use same material for all vaiations, ı just scaled parts to smaller size then the piece which should be visible.
İf you want to slice it or something like that; you can make seperate part for it, then scale at sliced variation

I hope ı got your point
I hope it helps
