Even worse, it’s just that pollution is produced indirectly (not in front of public).
Secondly, traveling speed & surface tension is the greatest cause of traffic noise nowadays.
Not to mention electrical smog & radiation, disruptions in natural magnetic field. Exploitation of 3rd world country inhabitants and natural resources. Albeit, since nothing of those officially exist, there’s no influence on life & surroundings. At least in short term. Nothing to worry about, ha? War is just a spectacle for the News. 
Every exploitation & exaggeration is the cause of pollution.
Fact is, there will never be a silent zero emission “thingy”.
Know, don’t believe the hype.
