Blender on macbook help

So, I love using blender on my PC, but in school, we’re issued a Mac. I’m not saying I hate macs, but they’re harder to use pc’s. And, from what I heard, scripting is REALLY, REALLY hard. I need a good mac tutorial, preferably on scripting, specifically mouselook.

And, while I’m here, I’d like to ask another question. I’ve just started UV texturing, and it’s working out pretty good on the mac, but when I play the game, some of the planes are white, even though they are textured in textured mode and already, “Unwrapped.”

P.S. I’m still a blender noob, so forgive me if I’m using the wrong words or phrases.:o

As far as I know python scripts for Blender games are identical no matter what OS you’re running.
Also, a thread like this doesn’t really belong in News and Discussion, the Support section is where it probably should be.

Well, I was looking for a mouselook tutorial, and it said I needed, aw, what was that thingy. On PC’s when you open blender, there is that black scripting box. That thing. It’s not on my mac. And I better rephrase my question, I need a tutorial on HOW to script. It just looked so hard. I tried, and I messed up. I tried looking for tutorials, and they were somewhat hard to follow.

…If this belongs in the support section, doesn’t a mod or someone have to move it? I don’t think I can do it myself.
