Hi guys

I was wondering if Blender would release patches/delta updates for their bug fixes. The reason I’m asking this is because here in South Africa and a few other countries, bandwidth can be expensive and having to download a new Blender version every week is sometimes not affordable. I’m not angry at the Blender Foundation for releasing bug fixes so often, I’m just not happy with having to download the full Blender install every time a new update is released.

Do you think patches would work?

I would sugest to start learning how to compile blender yourself, once you have the source code you can update it without hurting your bandwidth and compile blender from there, you can’t patch the blender installs.
