Blender pc2 import issue

I have animation on two simple square objects in 3ds max, I use point Cache Binding (WSM) to record that animation saved as a pc2 file.
I export the squares as FBX, with preserve Instances and Preserve edge orientation ON and everything else OFF.
When I import the FBX all looks good in Blender, but when I Add Modifier: Mesh Cache; The animation is there but the XYZ orientation is off. It’s a offset almost like random, however the same offset every time.
