In a few days I’m going to give a very short presentation of Blender in my ‘artclass’
I don’t have time to really explain blender, but just show what it can do.
I want to show them how they could model/create their own art
I’ve searced a few nice pics to show to them, but I don’t really have an impressing movie
or a short powerpoint that shows what blender is…
I would really appreciate it if you could give me some links
i’m sure there are many things out there, but I can’t find them on my own
thanks
Matt
One interesting alternative is to use Blender as your presenting tool. It is possible to run Blender from an USB stick as you might well know. You can use its layers/scenes or even game engine to build one.
If the presentation is extremely short (less than 30 mins), condense it to a couple of main points which you put emphasis on. It’s pretty much impossible to cover it all in such a short time span. One way to handle it is to build a story to show some simple process and conclude it. For instance you could show how you create a simple scene in Blender (just basic steps and tools used). Prepare well and it should go just fine.
