Blender Quick Smoke Problem

Hi there, I was very new to Blender.
I have tried to make some smoke simulation by following some tutorials on YouTube.
However, today when I try to do another from scratch. I find that,
First, when I Object>Quick Effect> Quick Smoke
The 3D Container for Smoke sim pops out, but nothing comes out when I hit play button.
I have changed to different viewport shading, but no luck.
Looking up online, people mentioned about the cache type,
I have changed it to modular, replay, final. Okay, I can see the smoke now.
But the outcome isn’t really following my configuration, even when I add some noise field, turbulence, etc. I can tell it isn’t affecting it. Seems like it is reading the cache from a previous simulation.

Can anyone help to clear my confusion? Like how to flush the old cache and properly set up a simulation scene.

You need to bake it first, in 2.82

BTW, I found finally (in the latest version 2.83 anyway) that you have to switch to Domain in order to see the Bake button. Although I may be doing something wrong…
