blender rc4 - how to make a partice fire?

Hi everyone,
it’s been a long time since I worked with particles (about 5 years) and I’m wondering what tut I should read to make a particle fire with smoke using the latest blender release.

P.S. I found only outdated tuts on the net and the interface has changed a lot since.
