Hello,
I’m new to the forum and new to blender too - currently following Andrew’s Underground tutorial to get me into the swing of things and enjoying it so far.
I’ve got into a few issues, but only technical issues to do with laptop performance. I have got to the stage where I am adding in the pipes for the cables and now laptop performance is very slow.
Moving the camera and navigating while in edit or object mode is fine.
When I am grabbing an object to move, scale, extrude etc it is extremely laggy and took forever to move an inch. It wont move fluidly either, very jumpy and scatty.
Laptop is a samsung NP550P5C, 6GB DDR3, i5 3220 (I think), integrated intel HD graphics.
Further to that, while a struggled like mad with the lagging, the array modifier didnt want to work too great on the cylinder for the pipe. I would set it to the correct axis and rotation which will align it on the correct axis, but it is offset to the side so the to ends do not match fully.
If anyone can help that would be great!! Apologies if I have posted in the wrong sub-forum
Thanks
