Hi,
I’d like to ask for your help. I need to scale based on centimeters, not on some ratio. Is there a way to change this, or is there an add-on for that?
Thank you very much
The “scale” is defined by a ratio.. so you have to “compute” your ratio by the wanted dimensions..
okey but , It’s not that simple for me. I need to enlarge each of these objects separately—12 cm to the left and 12 cm to the right. Each one is rotated differently, and on top of that, they aren’t centered at 0,0,0, so they’re also off-axis. These are windows on a building, and they all need to be 12 cm wider.
For now, I’m doing it manually, window by window, but I have a lot of these buildings and it’s taking forever…
The question might be: why not constrcucting these in the “correct” scale in the first place.. so..
One has to tell the computer or the application what one needs/want.. there is no clairvoyance computer yet ![]()
Well, the simple answer is… I didn’t build the buildings, but… some idiot did ![]()
Okay.. but nevertheless: you have to scale and reposition them as you need.
You may create “template” objects and instance them on the correct position..
But whatever way you choose.. it takes time.. like everything else too.

It would be nice to have an add-on that lets you easily change the size like this, not just the aspect ratio ![]()
Well… there is the awesome forum search function (top right;

..so:
only select cube make S*2 and enter
