Blender scripted FBX export issue.

When I use FBX exporter I can’t seem to get it to point to the proper files for textures, and since I am doing this for a hundred or so files I can’t very well re-point all of them, let alone edit all of the text files. Is there a switch that I am missing in bpy.ops.export_scene.fbx()? Currently using 2.58 and would love to keep it that way if at all possible (unless it turns out stupidly easy when 2.59 is released or something.)

EDIT: Turns out it was an export issue with the software I was using. Though I have to say it would be nice if the image embed option was brought back.
