Blender seems to be rendering incorrectly

Objects in my scene seem to sometimes render backwards (shading or showing a side that should be hidden) and sometimes puts some objects in front of others even when I have placed them behind. I apologize for posting here, but the “knowledge base” site is not working for me either (I keep getting the same window when I select a link). I’m using v. 2.36 in Win2000.

Thanks in advance

is the ZInvert button pressed in any of your materials?

I played around with the Zinvert and it just messed it up more :(.

I even erased all the textures and that still didn’t do it. Actually its just not in rendering that this problem occurs. When I press “Z”, it the objects are still confused about whos in front of who.

I think you’re objects might not be set up the way you think they are. Send me the .blend file, and I’ll try to help.

DwarvenFury,

I sent the file to your email.

Thank you very much for giving me a hand on this

Try setting the Clip Start value on the camera to 1.00 for the entire animation. I tried it and it seemed to fix the problem. If 1.00 doesn’t work, try playing around with different Clip Start values to see if they work. Hope this helps.
