Hi, looks like in 2.4x we had the option to manage the groups into another sub-groups, check this video:
I cannot make it work on the same ways in the new versions of Blender, any idea how to create sub-groups to have a much clear workflow? Thanks in advance.
As far as I can tell, you can take a group instance and add it to another group. Which essentially is a sub-group. I am not sure how deep you can go, but at least one level works.

Well, I did that but take a close look to the video, there’s like a sub-menu for each group, and that I cannot make it work in 2.6x no matter what, any idea?
At Sam’s and others prompting I am working on adding the Groups feature back into the Add menu.

It is not a relation between a group and a subgroup.
It just indicates from what blend the group is linked.
