Blender Talking To Maya

I have a character fully modeled and textured and I want to send him over to Maya for animation lighting and rendering. What is the best file to send him over as and keep the textures?

The first two to try are Obj (no hierarchy) or Collalda

I’ve found OBJ is best when transporting from Maya to blender, but then Autodesk FBX when transporting from Blender to Maya.
Textures should not be any issue if you’re making UV maps… most Maya artists prefer to use that method over procedurals when it comes to character animation.
