Blender to UDK

Hi guys,

First of all: I love the BGE and will continue using it but I wanna tried outs omething different too.

I know that there is the Exporter built in Blender 2.5x and 2.6x but I was wondering if it can also export animated and rigged meshes, different material and uv layouts and where you have to pay attention so the mesh works fine in the unreal engine?
