Just thought I’d give you guys the heads up. I wrote a one page tutorial on importing and using MOCAP data in Blender for 3D artist magazine. It is in news stands now, issue 24.

I’m going to have to break away from work soon and find a news stand with a copy. Come to think of it, it is a first for me. A tutorial in print! So I’ll have to get me one and save it.

That’s great news! I just recently subscribed and my one concern was that there wasn’t very much Blender specific material. However it’s a great resource which teaches a lot of the concepts which can be easily translated to other applications. I look forward to seeing this issue.
That’s great. Will be another tutorial in the next issue too. Will be on texture painting. Hope to do more as well.
A little update.
I’ll be getting a comp copy soon from my editor. But for those people with a Barns and Noble or Boarders near by, I have just been informed that they stock them.
Also a reminder there will be another one next month and I have just been commissioned to write a 3rd.
Congratulations! Great news, good luck with your future endeavors!
