I have a problem with UI. I’d appreciate it if anyone could help me with this one as I couldn’t find this problem anywhere in the web
A little black bar appears and dissappears in the bottom of Blender screen when I hover the mouse between windows, causing the whole UI to “wobble”. Weirdly, the problem doesn’t show in screen-captured footage, so I had to use my phone to record.
I’m using a laptop with NVIDIA 4070 RTX and a Ryzen processor. Same stuff in prior Blender versions. I have tried different settings in preferences, updated NVIDIA drivers, but no dice
I tried it and it works! But it’s not ideal, since I especially bought the laptop to work remotely, and not planning to carry a second display around me as well🤷
I tried tweaking the display settings. Lowering the resolution from 1920 x 1080 to 1760 x 990 removed the problem entirely from my laptop’s screen (again, not ideal again)
Also scaling up (in display settings) made the issue less noticeable
Hardware or hardware configuration issues seem to be correct. Maybe it’s just that the symptoms are minor and you can’t see them well.
There are likely methods such as removing and reinstalling the graphics driver, updating windows, and setting the screen frequency (checking the manual).
Hmm peculiar, I don’t even have that selection available in my NVIDIA control panel.
I figured a poor man’s workaround. I tore the Blender windows separate from each other, the issue doesn’t occur when hovering the mouse between separate windows. I can live with that
So if anyone reads this:
1 separate screen, tweaking display settings works great.
2 Tearing windows works too, albeit it doesn’t fully remove the issue.
3 There are more things in this thread that haven’t been tested, but seem promising
