Blender Units Issue

These images are from two different blend files. I’m trying to get my character assets to be uniformly scaled to real world sizes. Each blend file has the same unit setup. The issue is when I bring the default cube into the scene they measure differently. There’s no scaling applied to these cubes.

What would be the reason for getting two different measurements on a default cube from blend files using identical unit setups?

Perhaps you have different measurement display types enabled in each blend:

e.g. Edge measurement in one and face measurement in the other.


Would it be possible if you could share both your blend files that are causing the differences?

It just started working proper. I had to close and reopen the file. Adding a new default cube came in smaller this time. Thank you for the suggestion.
