Blender will not start up

Hi All
I have recently updated the nvidia drivers on my pc and now no version of bender will start. The splashscreen appears briefly, just grey, then the whole things disappears. I am only using the card that came with the pc-GT610, very low spec. I have re installed blender since updating the driver, but still no luck. Any ideas how to move forward?

you can try running blender in a console with a verbose commandline switch to try and get some feedback about errors.

Thanks for your replies but that’s too technical for my abilities. I have rolled back the driver which has solved the problem with blender but may still cause an issue with some other software.

If simply rolling back the driver version fixed it then it’s likely a driver issue and not blender anyways.
