I couldn’t find any information on how I could fix this issue, so I’m asking here.
Basically the problem is that blender doesn’t recognise digits input when using the Programmer’s Dvorak keyboard layout on Gnu/Linux (I haven’t checked on Windows.)
I’m using a netbook, so I can’t test the numpad, but I think it’s related to the special placement of digits in the keyboard layout, which are not only rearranged, but also require the Shift modifier.
I wasn’t sure if it’s a real bug, so didn’t report this issue to the bug tracker yet.
Thanks for your time.
