Blender won't open

On a 2.5 gHz dual core Mac, Blender 2.41 won’t open.

When I click on the Blender Icon, it blips as though it’s about to open, but then nothing happens.

2.36 opens OK, but a 3rd party plug in I need to use works only in 2.4+

Any suggestions?

python 2.4 installed? the default in OS X (even 10.4.4) is python 2.3. So either get blender for py2.3, or install python 2.4 (python.org).

i don’t installed python but i can open it

It is the mac version right?

Installed Blender for Py 2.3, and now everything’s OK
