This is the beginnings of my entry in the BlenderCookie Snowman Contest. I have a few things left to model like a scarf and snow on the tree, then I’m going to get the texturing and lighting done.

Here is an update. I’ve set up some basic materials, but no real textures yet. I think I like the lighting so far. I’m still working on putting some snow on the trees, so we’ll see.

yet another update. I ditched the sunny day and made it more of an overcast day. Also playing around with some depth of field techniques. not 100% sure i’m happy with it yet. we’ll see. I added a net to the basketball hoop as well. That wasn’t an easy one to figure out. turned out fairly nice I think though.
