Alright. I know we’ve got a lot of musicians on this thread, and have brought this up a few times, so here it is.

The premise of this thread is to post your own music, to get a bit of feedback from other blender users. Lua and I will be the ‘mods’ of sorts for this thread. If things get out of hand, this thread will be closed, so please listen to what we ask, and follow the rules.

THE RULES:

1.No Political or Religious related music(to stop any possible offense)

2.Please Refrain form Vulgarity in your music. Obviously we cant stop you, so if your song contains any obscene or mature:
a) subject matter
b) language
Then please put an obvious warning in your post.

  1. Post music at your own discression. Blenderartists.org, or Lua and I are not resonsible if your material is in any way abused.
Those are the rules at their simplest. Obviously, all normal forum rules still apply here. __________

This song is a work in progress(this is the intro, first verse, and chorus), with iffy quality and whatnot, so dont expect too much.
But Im still interested in comments and opinions :wink:

can’t wait to see some music here. my dad has DVR, so if I can get him to let me record a song onto it, i might cover something by one of my favorite artists. atm, i’m not very good at writing stuff, so that’ll have to wait.

I use uploader.polorix.net a blenderheads site, it was announced a month back…

you can also use:

savefile.com

putfile.com(not as good, iffy stability)

and there are many others, but those are the best…

Preferably host recordings of your music. I guess plain Lyrics are fine, but Host them as word files or something, to save thread space.

Because this thread desperately needs people to post their music…

I’ve post a recording I did. It’s not my composition. Rather it’s classical, the first movement from a Haydn sonata. It’s not particularly difficult and was made over a year ago so I need to re-record it with the rest of the sonata and the more “epic” pieces I’m working on.

Whoa! Very good. Im not a great pianist, but I know good music when I hear it.
My only crit would be that either the loud hits are too loud, or the quiet too quiet. The contrast was a bit too strong in a couple of parts(because of that).
Overall, amazing.
