I don’t know if this is the right place to talk about it. 
I’m completely new to this forum. The main reason I came here is that my computer supports Blender 2.79 and earlier versions only, so I can’t use the BlenderKit in it.
The question is, where can I find the old versions of the BlenderKit plugin that may work in Blender 2.79?

It seems the oldest release is for
Should now be backwards compatible to 2.93
and the oldest git version is for 2.80 relase candidate
…so i’m not sure if there even was one for 2.79 ?
Also:
If i do remember correctly then there was some changes on the transmission protocol or format. So an older version would not work with the actual servers anyway.

Your link for blender 2.80 shows installed in blender 2.79 but it’s not showing up in the Add-on page of the preference window.
And about the working in blender 2.79, I found in this video that it works.

The links are from github and “showing” nothing… only “stating” (in text) for 2.8… so i mighjt not understand your “opposing” ( but… ).
Also the 3.2.3 version shown in your video seems to be not existent on the github page (which is the official GH page ; also linked via https://www.blenderkit.com)… while the actual is 3.12.3
So again: older versions might work as addon by itself but may not connect properly to the service…
