Blenders hotkeys and UI

Hello all

I have a question about the UI and more so about the hotkeys Blender uses. You see I have used 3DS Max for a few years now and I much prefer navigation of that program as you have all the tools you need right in front of you. I used to use blender before hand but I have all these hotkeys and shortcuts.

So I ask the question: Is there anyway I can remove the use of hotkeys only from blender? Or is there a plugin you can download to change the UI to look like other programmes?

Use the toolshelf or menu items to select the tool or operation you want to use instead of the shortcut.
Use a python script to customise the interface to add additional tools. Look at the addons for examples
