I’ve just recently downloaded Blender 2.28a, and I’ve realised that all the text on the interface, like buttons, and in menu’s (basically everwhere) are all grey and blurry instead of black!
I’ve seen the screen shots of Blender’s interface and the text in the interface shots are all nice and sharp and BLACK.
Why is’nt my blender like that?
I cant find any solution in the knowledge base - please help!
I have ATI Radeon 9700 Pro graphics, if that helps.
Pull down the info buttons by the bar below the top (just above the 3d window) and turn off international fonts with the button on the third tab (Language & Font)
see if that does the trick.
if so, with the default scene open, make the change, put the info buttons window back, and press control+u and confirm to save that as the default
I had Open GL all set to application preference when I started blender today, (which was’nt the case when I was having the problem) and now it’s displaying black text properly.
I had set Open GL to application preference after I got fed-up with Blender not looking right, so I could play this game that required just Direct3D.
Now I’ve enabled Open GL, and have set only Anti Alaising to application preference, and now I think the problem is cured.
