Blender's native addons (A.N.T. Landscape) to Geometry nodes?

Hi!

So, I’m browsing through Youtube, looking for an inspiration. And I stumbled upon A.N.T. Landscape, with some erosion features, converting mesh to various attributes that I’m pretty interested in.

However, I’d love to use this conversion on my own geometry nodes instead. Is there a way how to access or convert this workflow to custom geometry node setup?

I think it’s not absolutly clear what you mean by this… have you looked into something like:

or:

or any other geometry nodes landscape generation out there ??

Directly using any addon with geometry nodes… hmm… they just wheren’t made for this exactly… but maybe someone found a way…

Thank you for the tips, I’ll check them out!

My issue so far was that majority of such addons rely heavily on material nodes instead of geometry ones.

I need to work more with mesh itself for game environment. And I noticed a few key features in A.N.T. that would come handy doing so, so instead of reinventing the wheel, I thought why not access this process and transfer it somehow into my geometry setup. Unfortunately A.N.T. itself, as is, is a destructive process and that’s not what I’m looking for. And I don’t feel like I have precision needed for creating the desired landscape myself from my own cutouts, blocks etc.

Ahh… i see… just some additional (but properly unhelpfull?) info: there is/was (last forV3.0) a version :

which does all this directly as texture…

I know about this version. Unfortunately, it’s the opposite of what I’m looking for

I’ll keep digging. I want to create my own setup anyway, but naturally, if there’s something I can learn on or even directly use, I’ll do it.

Higgsas erosion in geonodes.

Hope that helps
