Is it possible to have blender not open the terminal window? I never use it, and occasionaly accidentily close out of it, loosing all of my work.
I assume on windows, not that I’m aware of.
On Linux, yes, just don’t start Blender from the terminal. Windows, don’t think so. The terminal output can be useful as it shows render progress, bake progress and such.
On ubuntu, is it possible to open the terminal for python errors without having to open the whole program from the terminal?
Of course not. You can’t read Blender errors without having Blender running.
If you mean after opening Blender the answer is still no…
