I’ve made several attempts to get to the manual for Blender and come up with the page can not be found. So decided to go to www.blender.org and this too failed. Finally as a last resort, I searched for the IP address for the site and when I go to it, it comes back with just “blender.org”. (http:82.94.213.220) Anyone else have problems accessing their site?

Me, too. That sucks.
This has happened from time to time for years, it will usually be back up within a few hours (and if not, then by the next day).
Nothing to worry about, the Blender project isn’t dead.

It’s called the internet.
At this time of year you’ll get more site outages as the internet elves migrate up north the help Santa with all his packing. Once they’ve handed over the parcels to Amazon for delivery normal service will be resumed.
SVN Server to, i cant update and build latest revisions, it is the same server.
blender.org and svn.blender.org both work fine for me.
And no, they are not on the same server.
