That’s a really cool idea.

The reason people like sculpt-modelling is that it feels more human. Our brains (most of us) are tuned toward physical shape and space, not polygons and edge loops. “Sculpting” feels more intuitive and more natural to most of us.

What you suggested would take that idea a big step further. Of course the devil is in the details, but the more you can make a computer program adapt to how people do things the better off the users will be. They won’t have to change how they work/think to suit the program.
