Blending Life 2 - Natalie Portman

Hi! I am new to Blender Artists, but I have been using Blender for quite some time now (I think 2.37 was the first version I tried out). In retrospect it’s a bit weird I haven’t posted in this great forum before…
So recently I stumbled across [```
this modeling tutorial

I've been struggling with getting the likeness down and I'm still not quite satisfied. Perhaps (hopefully) I've just been staring at it to long, but I'm open to all suggestions.

Sorry for the long post (I might as well write an autobiography :p).

Wow. Really nice work on the likeness.

nice work  seems that the temples might need to come in just a bit, but not too much. also, the inner corners of the eyes seem to come out a bit too far, but that could be the angle.

did a quick google image search, thought this image might help you out a little

it is already alike this way.
I would make the nose softer.

No he is right, change the fore head and the eye brows near the center of the nose bride are angry looking needs to change. - come on get motivated I’m liking this !

Thanks for the nice comments! I tried to adjust the model based on your advice, the changes are quite subtle but you might see them if you look hard. I also worked a little bit on her neck and shoulders, I felt they were a bit to big and manly before.
I’m sorry I didn’t reply before, I have upcoming exams next week so all my time is pretty much spent studying, which leaves very little time for blending :(. So I’m afraid there won’t be too many updates until next weekend. Until then here are two images; on the second one I just quickly projected the reference image on to her, the eyes are some old ones I’ve used just for testing. It’s already looking fairly good, don’t you think?

Fairly good is an understatement, the resemblance to Natalie is astounding and once textured is gonna look even better.

did we ever see a finished version of this?
