I haven’t checked out your progress much recently but you’ve definitely got a good thing going here imo, a lot more resemblance to Ms. Portman in some of the images, and the latest post looks much more interesting than another attempted Amidala. Certainly worth continuing, taking some of the other crits into account.
My 2 cents: Good pose, but the lighting is maybe a little too extreme, try to keep a minimum of detail in all but the very brightest highlights and darkest shadows, and even there too, if at all possible. It may be subtle but eyes and minds respond to it.
Painted edges of lips look too sharp & uniform, they need to reflect some of the skin texture, doesn’t have to be totally obvious, a subtle touch will do.
Add lower eyelashes, too (sorry of you’ve already mentioned this), and the uppers look almost too uniform, not unusual for a “high-fashion” makeup job but some minor irregularities in spacing along the lids helps. Length & curl of the uppers looks good, though, very appealing. They usually extend a little farther toward the tear duct, btw,
Add some of what I call “lachrymal” (that means tear-producing, I think) tissue between eyeball and lids, especially at the tear ducts, and try for more veinage (it doesn’t have to be hugely visible) in the white of the eyes (sclera). There’s a link in the Blending Life rules thread to a guy who does excellent eye closeups at big resolution that can be used for creating convincing eye textures for the price of an email
Not sure what you’re planning for hair, but she looks very exotic to me, and you might consider something very edgy, maybe even just some well-designed tats (I think bald women are hot, but what do I know?)
Anyway, you got time to bring this forward and I see a lot of good potential in that last post.
