Well, I’m gonna try my hand at this. Not so sure how well it will turn out. But then if I knew the outcome it wouldn’t be fun would it? I’m gonna do Saya from Blood the last vampire. I’m going to need a lot of help to do this because I don’t know how to do that much in Blender. Anyways here goes.

anyway, good luck… I think the girl is sexy, hot and all, both the anime and live versions, but I would rather see a cg recreation of the vampires in it really. They just look more interesting from an artists point of view imo. All the humanoid’s anatomical structures, just taken to the extreme.
Great subject! Saw this over at a buddies place long time ago and thought it was awesome and have been toying with the idea of modeling Saya ever since, really looking forward to seeing you work on this! Also had no idea there was a live action film.
Ya I didn’t know there was a live action film till I started looking for ref. guess it was just released this month. I finally got a chance to sit down and work on this last night and a little this morning. Anyways here is my start so far. I made a box model rough shape for the head and I’m starting to cut it into shape. Still very rough but if you can spot any glaring problems please let me know now before i get too far into it.
I may be wrong, but you should convert the triangles to quads. Other than that, good start.
Update: At the rate I’m going I don’t know if I will get this done by the deadline. Oh well I’ll see how it goes.
