Blending objects

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering is there a way to blend an object into another object?
For example blending a cube into a sphere. I know this is possible in 2D software like adobe flash, but i was wondering if it could also be done in blender.


Yes there is, you have to use modifiers. The modifiers name are shrinkwrap and cast, check out the manual(the links).Then it’s possible to add them as shape-keys which make it possible to have several shapes per object.
