You have an excellent eye o detail which makes your photos and art look real, and full of life. Well done art. Your shading technique looks like a cross between hatching and smudging. I haven’t seen shading composed like this before, it adds originality to your work.

Your pear confuses me. the shadow is on the side where the light is coming from. Ever try using vine charcoal?
