I uploaded a couple of models to Blendswap almost three months ago and they’re still listed as “pending.” Does anybody know if Blendswap is still being maintained?
They had some problems every now and then because of certificates… and the site seem to be a bit weird while responding… but i also never have seen any actual “info” about anything.
The only thing to change every now and then seems to be the staff pic list ?? ( 
When did i looked there last time ???)

The site is so slow and seems to be a lot of trolls there nowadays.

Some years back it was mentioned by the site owner that the time to maintain it and monitor it was simply not there anymore. It is too bad because it was on its way to become an amazing place to bring loads of free assets designed for Blender (as a result, we do not have a Blender-centric website for asset sharing, especially in terms of more recent asset types like Geometry Node groups).
That the servers have not simply been turned off is a surprise to me, as of now I would consider it a zombie website that is not really worth using or mentioning.

The people maintaing the blender website will properly kick of any links to sites if not present any more … but surely will not check the “quality” into a very deep level… for example for not english languages that would be by far too much.
Apropos: i in general have “problems” to find anything on any 3D object website… not only the quality but also the purpose or style is very hard to determine…
( for example what once was high poly now is lowpoly; game ready does not mean anything; usable for VFX is sometimes “imagination” )

I gave up on Blendswap after loosing access to my account a couple of times, (years ago).

Indeed. Everytime I upload a model I get a bunch of spam comments. I report them, but they’re never taken down.
