As above.
This constitutes my attempt to make the cloth deform in a (reasonably) natural way. Any suggestions on how to improve this would be more than welcome.
nice char, not bad for a blender noob (this is just an assumption, based on the amount of posts youve made). you need to work on the cleanliness of the scene, what i mean basically is you should get rid of all those useless objects…
Sadly, no I’m not a noob.
It’s not really a scene, hence all the assorted rubbish, which I can’t be arsed to remove as it will be needed later.
This is just purely a WIP to get suggestions for rigging cloth so it moves realistically (ie the base of the tunic lifts as the arms raise, cloth creases in reasonably the right areas etc…)
Been Blendering since 1.80, just not really been able to utilise the community before.
He´s good but he´s got some strange ridges in his face, were I don´t think I have any ridges… I can´t quite put my finger on it, but there´s something wrong with his face. Other than that, this is good!
Don’t get me started on ‘there’s something wrong but I can’t quite put my finger on it’. I really ought to use reference photos. I know that the eyes are considerably too large for one, but every time I try to fix that it completely destroys the face. Oh well… :-? :-? :-?
If you find the link doesn’t work for you refer to the top of the string.
Sorry for never giving views that are directly comparable
Once more comments crits…

Blender crashed for no good reason (I blame XP), I was just moving two vertices and boom- critical error, must close. hmmmmm, cheeeeers.
Why does Bill Gates take Microsoft and set up in Iraq, make sure they NEVER develop nuclear weapons if they use Windows, now where was my Linux distro…
Anyway, comments on the model please.
