blue thunder

so i have tried to model this helicopter. i picked it for its difficulty. i am now working on the texture maps. i want to try to make it look as real as i can and not a model. how ever i can not seam to get it right yet. i am a long way form done. but if you like give me your input.



have u tried using nodes to get a metal texture mixed with the main texture (i havnt actally tried this but it works with solid colors), also u could make the windows slightly transparent and add some mirror to them aswell. Add some more spec to the body of the helicopter and up the hard value a little (u may not have to up the spec if the hard works out). Good job so far
