Blueprint Question and another one which I forgot :P

Hi all

Just decided to do modeling of cars since I can navigate and model with the basic skills in Blender 2.4.2 RC3.
The only problem:
The blueprint won’t show up.
I did it the way many car modellers describe (I use the Tutorial on The Blueprints.com), but the blueprints won’t be displayed at all.

What is the problem??

The other question, which I have forgotten, will be posted here too.

Off-topic:
Any1 of yours played the new America’s Army yet?? (version 2.80 (coalition))I have played 2.50 be4, and in this version lots of things are new, so worthy downloading.

view properties->background image. Use offsets and scale to suit the view you are in.

Yeah, I knew that.
And if you visited the site The Blueprints, you noticed that one of the steps is the reply you answered, so it wasn’t very usefull, sorry.
I really see NOTHING, not even a small part.

Backgrounds are only visible in the window and orthogonal view in which you defined it. SO, set one of your 3D views to View->Top. Then View->Background Image. Enable Use Background Image. Click Load. Find the file and load it. play happily.

Downloaded the newest version (moment of writing)v2.43 and it works.
So I guess I fucked up the setting in the RC version’s.
Thanks nevernontheless

The other question:

How can I merge, say, two edges into one?
So, well consider it as merging.
