Blurry and Pixelated Textures When Rendering

Hi All,

I’m new to Blender and am wondering why when I apply textures to faces it looks as I would expect it to, but when I have Blender render the image the textures look stretched/blurry/pixelated. I have tried reducing the filter value and playing around a little with the filter options but the image always seems to look the same. Any help is appreciated!

Have you selected UV in the ‘Map Input’ panel?
This is located in the materials section
