About 25% done, but school is coming up again, so I won’t have that much time, therefore I’ve decided to post it (and I just had to do a Yafray render ), so you all can encourage me to finish it Nah, just kidding.
[edit]
And the model is at this state right now (Blender render). Sunlights, that’s why there are no shadows.
Constructive criticism is encouraged, though I won’t pay any attention to it J/K
Why are the headlights missing in the Yafray render? And it’s almost too shiny to look like real metal and paint, it has the same spec as glass in the windows of the car. Super modeling tho!!! wish i could do that well, no patience for it tho.
I know, I just posted it, because it still didn’t look as cartoonish as the Blender render, but as I said, I only took a few mins with that one, I’ll try to create a decent shader, if I ever get there
sorry, but what do you mean by alloy? As you know, English is not my native language, and I know a direct translation for the word, but I don1t know what you mean here.
umm, I don’t see the problem with the doors, so could you be more specific (even though I am in the progress of tweaking yafray, but if it’s really a large problem I go back.)
the yafray render was an old version, and I have only spent about 2 minutes on the materials, so it stinks big time, thus I have removed it
Here is the link, but keep in mind that it was jut for fun, it’s nowhere near the final in any way http://web.axelero.hu/czene/bmwexport.jpg
Thanx for the comments. I don’t call it finished for a, I want a yafray render, b, for example the rims have the default material.
O, one more thing, could anyone give me a high resolution BMW emblem, this one has a 80x80 bmp on it, and that was the best I could even find
the first door, looks too rounded, like it’s something from rolly polly ollie… and the second door looks like a kid’s drawing it looks like blackpaint smeared down the side…
I think that’s what he meant, but yeah, the headlights could seriously use some texturing… considering that they’re made of a shiny plastic
hey man… that is AWSOME! I love how you got it to look like that… that is definitely the coolest render I have seen with (did you use rayfray?) anyway… very cool looking
Look in the finished projects at the motorbike render by Burt S. (something like first HDRI render yablex, yafray). I almost abandoned this project when I saw that
