Bone Chains...

Hey everyone, been playing around with Blender 2.4 and just started to do animations. I’ve been reading some docs on it, mainly the Gingerbread Man example. Everything is fine but i think they changed the bone system sence it was written. I can’t seem to get them to chain. Am i an idiot or did they change it?

Select the bone at the end of the chain and hit Ctrl-I and choose.
