Bone not following keyframes

I’m getting so fed up with these random bugs coming out of nowhere.

On a rig that I’ve used in at least 12 animations so far, I am all of a sudden getting this stupid bug where the bone just doesn’t follow the keyframe, staying still until a SINGLE frame before the next keyframe, then it snaps to the new position. I’ve narrowed it down to the hip bone (the anchor of the entire rig) being the issue, all other bones follow keyframes as usual.

I have deleted the keyframe and re-created it, I’ve set everything to vector, and it’s not the rig itself as I’ve used this rig for a dozen animations so far and I’ve never once had this happen. Every time I make a new animation I just copy the rig and model from it’s base blend file and paste it to the one used for the animation, so no settings should have changed.

I don’t touch any of the advanced stuff in Blender as I’m still learning, but am smart enough not to mess with stuff i don’t understand. Nothing has been changed from any of my previous animation projects, so what happened?

Well, your video only shows the problem, but doesn’t tell me anything. You’re going to need to post of the .blend file so someone can look at it.

Or, you could troubleshoot this a bit yourself. In the file that is giving you problems, try appending in an action from another file that works. Does the appended action work correctly? If so, then it’s a problem with the action you are working on. If not, then it’s a problem with the file you are working on.

blender is very hotkey oriented. Pressing the wrong key with the mouse in the wrong area can change settings. To me, it sounds like you might have changed the hip bone to using constant interpolation. What’s the Hip bone’s f-curve look like? Compare the look of the f-curves between your problem file and a good file.
