Bone that is lead by external object

Hello,

I have the following problem.
I have an armature that is lead by an IK-Bone. That IK-Bone should be animatable but at the same time it should also follow an external object by copy location and rotation. And the external object also should have an impact on the IK.

I have this example file.

There, the IK-Lead-Bone should be the bone that I should be able to move freely in pose mode, but at the same time it should copy the location of the Cube-IK-Bone.
The Cube-IK-Bone copies the location and rotation of the Cube.

Is this possible to do?

Hey, You are going to have to re-think your set-up.

That would be true, but it has a ‘Copy Loc’ const on it, which keeps you from moving it. You should have also mentioned that this is for the “game engine”, since there may be additional solutions…

Thanks for the reply, someone gave me the solution in discord :slight_smile:
It is possible to animate the influence of the constrain as well, so I just do that.
