Hi, just started trying to rig this extremely simple hand and ran into an issue when I tried to play with it in pose mode. When I rotate one of the bones to move a finger, both the mesh and the bone move, but the mesh moves further than the bone rotates. Image attached for a better explanation. Anyone know what mistake I’ve made?
First place I would look is the modifiers panel for the mesh, make sure there are not 2 armature modifiers there. If you parent a mesh to an armature in 2.5 blender adds an armature modifier. So if you parent, un-parent, & then parent again, you end up with 2 modifers which produced the results you show. If that doesn’t fix it, please attach a .blend file.
