I just want to cut a hole in a plane…I used to do it but now I forgot. I want to use the Boolean modifier. Its a simple operation, but everything I find on the web tells about it but doesnt actually tell you what steps to take to achieve it. ( Like do you parent the two objects and what do you type in tyhe OB: field in the modifier panel?..Thanks, from a newb!!!
you don’t have to parent…
create two objects, select the plane, add the modifier, type the name of the cutting object in the Ob field, click Apply and get rid of the cutting object…
