okay when I try to add bounds to an object it slows the frame rate way down and I have no clue why… does any one know how to fix this?
what bounds did you use?? if your object is too complicated and you use something like triangle mesh or convex hull it can be really slow. Trust me i have personal experience…xD
I’m just using box and even if it was convex hull it’s not even a complicated mesh

Post a blend. Without knowing your exact setup it’s impossible to know what’s going on.
Does it do it in a plain blend file? If you create nothing but a cube and add bounds does it have the same problem?
