So I decided to start making a bowling alley… No lanes yet, materials on the balls and floor/walls are still in progress. and still need holes in the balls 
Rendered in yafaray, sorry sor such a small picture and grainy sample size- render time is rather high. For now, I just had some color correction in gimp. I’m thinking of having a ball rolling down the lane with motion blur in the final picture. Please give any critiques!
it looks great so far, work on those lanes. The floor seems a little too reflective. try adding some gloss…\
also add some nicer balls in there! i have never been to an alley that has just black balls
thanks, I’ll try that with the floor. By the way, they’re not all black, they’re just really dark. Like I said, Ill work on some textures for them.
Fixed a few things. I think I will dull the reflection of the balls and floor.

Nice! Although i think there should be more focus on the lanes and let the balls be a kind of side art 
way too blurry too, makes me feel like im not wearing glasses
