Bowling strike simulation

Blender’s physics engine simulated the hook trajectory of the bowling ball and collision with the pins. Audio added later. The red spot on the ball marks the PAP (Positive Axis Point) and the white spot helps visualize the rotation rate.

Not without its charm. Addi a motion blur is my first impulse.

i like the physics and the overall look. the pins and the ball need a light cloud normal texture to make them look used.

I tried a motion blur with 4 samples and a shutter = 0.5. It tripled the render time and I’m not sure I like the effect. Here is the comparison.
